There are more ways than one. Donations of time, money, or supplies will help these kids become stronger students. Together we can help break the cycle of poverty and change their families for generations.
VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Tutors during the school year to help students with their home work (typically 2 hours per week)
Teen Club mentors (typically 2 hours per week)
Kitchen and housekeeping volunteers (1-4 hours per week)
Chaperones for enrichment trips (5 hours per month)
Administrative volunteers (5-25 hours per month)
Download an application, fill it out, along with a permission form for a background check and submit these to volunteer@lifecenterdurham.org. From there, we will contact you and help you find out how to get involved. This volunteer experience is ideal for those who love working with children, creating and nurturing relationships, and desire to see a young life transformed.

The Life Center gladly welcomes all donations of pre-packaged snacks, new school supplies, new book bags, new academic games, new toys, et cetera. Email our team info@lifecenterdurham.org to arrange drop-off or pick-up.
Lifting Individuals and Families to Excel, Inc. (L.I.F.E. Center) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization (EIN 45-2416446) that exists to nurture the child, strengthen the family, and rebuild the community. Tax-Deductible Contribution Statements are distributed annually no later than January 31st.
